OMEA SOLO/ENSEMBLE CONTEST
This years’s solo/ensemble competition is taking place Saturday, January 18 at Heights High. All chamber ensembles will participate. In addition, all students are strongly encouraged to prepare a solo. Students are responsible for arranging a piano accompanist. Fees for accompanists range from $35 – $50 and include one rehearsal and concert day.
Parents are needed to volunteer at the event.

This Wednesday, November 20th – BOPO event – shop at Ten Thousand Villages, 12425 Cedar Road, then stop in at Liquid Planet 12413 Cedar Road, for a smoothie or dinner! BOPO will get 15 and 20%, respectively from all sales (Liquid Planet requires a flyer, TTV does not!)
Friday, Nov 22nd: Fall Concert – Concert Orchestra, Symphonic Winds, and Heights High Symphony. Chamber ensembles @ 6:30 PM, Concert begins @ 7:30 PM, reception with the Jazz bands follows the concert! Heights Spirit Pillows, bags, and stickers will be available for purchase, as well as raffle tickets!

The Heights Symphony and Symphonic Winds will be playing Tuesday, March 26th@ 7:30 PM at: Catholic University of America (Benjamin T Rome School of Music), Ward Recital Hall, John Paul Rehearsal Hall
Students should arrive at HTS High at 6:00 AM on Saturday.
DO NOT FORGET: instrument, bow, reeds, mouthpieces, MUSIC, concert clothes, water bottle, NEW color tags for instruments
